Payment terms and cancellations

Insurance

We  strongly recommend you take out travel insurance on making your booking to cover the cost of cancellation of your holiday, as well as all personal injury or loss/damage/theft of  personal belongings whilst on holiday.

Payment schedule

  • to book - a non refundable reservation payment of 20% of the rental cost secure your chosen dates. This is later deducted from the rental cost when you make full payment.
  • no later than 12 weeks before your arrival -  the full rental cost less the reservation deposit plus a £300 damage deposit.
  • 28 days after the end of your stay - damage deposit is returned to you in the event of no losses or breakages (see also below)

Cancellations

We acknowledge that sometimes a cancellation is unavoidable. We recommend you take out insurance as soon as you book.

In the event of a cancellation of any kind (other than per our covid19 policy) we regret that we do not reimburse this regardless of when you cancel. The reason for this it that it is paid to secure your preferred dates and give you the comfort of knowing those dates are reserved to you and no one else can book. Further, other guests who may have wanted those dates may have booked elsewhere. The payment also covers the time taken to re-market and re-book the villa to other guests. 

Should you cancel the following charges are payable:

  • up to 12 weeks before your arrival - the reservation payment.
  • up to 8 weeks before your arrival - the reservation payment and 50% of the rental cost
  • up to 4 weeks before your arrival -   the reservation payment and 100% of the rental cost
  • if we manage to find alternative guests for your dates, we will at our discretion waiver some of the above cost and we may refund you all or part of the rental cost. The reservation deposit will not be refunded
  • the damage deposit will be refunded to you.

Damage deposit

The damage deposit is £300. This is paid with the rental cost no later than 12 weeks before your arrival. This refunded within 28 days after your departure subject to confirmation from our management company that the villa has been left in good order with no significant damages/breakages to the villa or contents, or loss of keys.  We will make a full deduction or partial deduction in the event of losses / damage / breakages.

Payment Methods

Payment is either by bank transfer or by debit or credit card.
